TrueGrid® creates meshes of unsurpassed quality, and more quickly and easily than with any other mesh generator.  Expensive three-dimensional simulations, commonly used by engineers and scientists, can now be run for a small fraction of the overall cost.  By some estimates, creating a model for the simulation takes 90% of the total costs.  A team of Ph.D. mathematicians and physicists at XYZ Scientific Applications have perfected a method which lets a designer accomplish in several days what usually takes several months of work

Multi-Block Structures

The key to building a quality mesh is to use structured blocks.  TrueGrid® creates hexahedron solid elements and quadrilateral thin shell elements, arranged in rows, columns, and layers to form structured blocks.  Structured blocks are preferred because with them, it is possible to control the quality of the mesh and to decompose the problem into manageable pieces.  Simulation codes produce accurate simulations more quickly using these meshes.  TrueGrid® has the flexibility to build a multi-block structured mesh conforming to any of the most complex geometries.

Parametrization

TrueGrid® offers several ways to parametrize the geometry.  Any surface parameter can be replaced by a pre-defined symbolic name and any number can be replaced by an expression which could include the symbolic name.  The user can easily save the commands which defined the mesh, change any parameter, and rerun those commands to get a new mesh reflecting the new parameter value.

Geometry Library

TrueGrid® imports the geometry from solids modelers, CAD/CAM systems, polygonal data, and scattered data.  You can generate additional geometry with  TrueGrid® ‘s built-in library of curves and surfaces.  TrueGrid® can easily glue surfaces together and extend them tangentially when they are expected to intersect with other surfaces.  You do not need to create 3D curves for the intersection of surfaces, since TrueGrid® intersects them automatically. There is no need to "clean up" the geometry.
